Luverne High School Homecoming 2022

Luverne High School will host its annual Homecoming festivities on Sept. r 23, 2022. This year’s homecoming theme is “Calling all Tigers… Coming Home to Our Roots.”

The homecoming festivities will begin with a reception honoring the returning Class of 2013 on Friday, Sept. 23rd at 8:15 a.m. in the high school library. Formal presentation of the queen and her court will follow at 9 a.m. in the Samuel M. Carr Gymnasium. The homecoming parade will begin in downtown Luverne at 12 p.m.

The Luverne Tigers will host the Calhoun Tigers at 7 p.m. Pre-Game activities will begin at 6:30 p.m. and include the alumni band and alumni cheerleader performances. The presentation of the court and the crowning of Miss Homecoming 2022 will be during halftime.

Presiding over the homecoming activities will be Miss Micaiah June, LHS Homecoming Queen 2022. Micaiah is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brian Gipson and Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo June. Members of her royal court are Senior Attendants, Mackenzie Daniel and Zoe McManigle. Mackenzie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brandon Coots. Zoe is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jason McManigle and Ms. Ashley McManigle. Junior Attendant, Zyan Peterson, is the daughter of Ms. Delicia McGhee and Mr. Jamie Peterson. Sophomore Attendant, Zakendall Thompson, is the daughter of Ms. Tiffany Thompson. Freshman Attendant, Carlie Ann Hammonds, is the daughter of Ms. Laura Bees. Crown Bearer is Master Maxwell Kilpatrick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Kilpatrick. Scepter Bearer is Little Miss Molly Anna Hall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Hall.

Miss Football Sweetheart 2022 is Miss LaErykah Harrell, daughter Mr. and Mrs. Eric Harrell. Little Miss Football Spirit is Zoey Floyd, daughter of Ms. Michelle Scrushy and Mr. Zack Floyd. Little Mister Football Spirit is Aiden Messick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Messick.
