Pet of the Week-Cooper
By Haley Mitchell Godwin
“My name is Cooper. I think. I am only five months old so I am still learning about a lot of things, including my name. However, I did quickly learn how to sit and fetch. I am a Blue Heeler/Maltese mix and I belong to Roy and Tracy Johnson of Brantley. I eat everything and I really love bacon, but, I really, really love to play, play some more, and then play again.”
Cooper’s owners said that when they went to pick him up, the name Cooper just seemed to fit. Cooper is full of love and his owners say that he absolutely adores kids. He loves to play with their grandchildren and never leaves their side when they are over for a visit. Each morning Cooper goes to his toy box and begins getting his toys out to play with one by one until he has them all out. Cooper has a sister named Gracie that is a rat terrier. Although they get along great and love to play together, Gracie can put Cooper in his place quickly.
