“My name is Kasi Dee, and I rule the roost in the Kilpatrick household. Although I don’t like how it sounds, I am a senior citizen, getting close to 19 years old. (sematext) I have several siblings, and although I am almost completely blind and am hard of hearing, I do my best to keep them in line. I don’t have many teeth left, so eating can be hard. So, my Mom keeps my favorite snack on hand – softened bone marrow treats. My parents, John and Sandra Kilpatrick of Luverne rescued me when I was just a puppy after Mom’s friend, Kaye W. Beverly, found me lost and wandering around. Mom named me after Mrs. Kay.”

Kasi Dee is a miniature Dachshund, Sandra’s favorite breed. The Kilpatricks said Kasi Dee is a special girl, a devoted companion, and part of their family. They love her very much, and Kasi Dee has brought much joy, laughter, and adventure into their lives. According to the Kilpatricks, Kasi Dee has been a ball of spunk with no fear since they first adopted her over 17 years ago. She will always be their little princess, despite her age.
