Farmers Market celebrates local vendors

The Crenshaw County Farmers Market is ongoing throughout the summer, allowing local farmers, bakers and other vendors to sell their products to attendees.
Crenshaw County Extensions’ Live Well Alabama offered flyers for their fruit of the week – blueberries – detailing how to store and prepare them. There was also a recipe demonstration of popcorn trail mix featuring popcorn, nuts and blueberries.
For the Day Camp with Crenshaw County 4-H, children learned about leafhoppers and painted pictures of the bug underneath the pavilion.
