The Crenshaw County Chamber of Commerce welcomed a new lawyer to the city with a ribbon cutting in downtown Luverne.
Attorney Shasta Lunsford has been in real estate law for around nine years, previously mentored by Mark Murphy with Murphy and Murphy Attorneys P.C. in Andalusia, Alabama and then worked with another firm out of Mobile, Alabama.
Lunsford said that the name of her new firm, Faith Law and Title, P.C., was in honor of her stepping into this new venture on faith.
“God placed on my heart a desire to open a law firm,” Lunsford said. “I did not know if that was of God, so I prayed against it for a little bit. I prayed against it for a little bit and everything started falling into place. Hence the name, I literally stepped out on faith for this, and it’s been nothing short of amazing… ”
Lunsford primarily works with real estate and estate planning, advertising real estate closings and estate planning on the window of their office.
Refreshments and small sandwiches catered by Bushes BBQ were served to friends, family and other attendees after they had gathered in the main lobby for the ribbon cutting.
Additionally, there were also gift bags for those in attendance. The items inside included water bottles, self-care face masks and more.
“We try to promote all new businesses in the county, so with [Lunsford] moving in it was just a great opportunity to come visit with her,” said chamber president Steve Sanders. “We’re excited about it. Our attorneys are busy, and they do a great job, but this will be a great compliment to our current attorneys. We have a lot of people that rely on real estate closings and estate planning, so this is a great fit for Crenshaw County.”
Faith Law and Title, P.C. is located at 61 South Forest Avenue in downtown Luverne.
