Crenshaw Christian Academy (CCA) will be adding new faculty for the school year 2025-26.

Administrators announced they will be introducing Natalie Lankford, Shelby Spaziani and Leann Sullivan Tew to CCA families.

“I am very excited about our new additions to the faculty at CCA,” said Valorie Stroud, Head of School of CCA. “They have a wealth of knowledge that will allow our students to grow in all aspects of their educational experience. They are experienced in the classroom and they all have great time and classroom management skills that will enhance learning.”

Lankford will serve as the new student liaison, as well as continuing to teach junior high math, speech, health and career prep. She will also continue as the junior high cheer sponsor and Excel Club advisor.

In the new role, Lankford will be responsible for keeping parents informed in their child’s education, connecting families with school resources and continuing relationships between families and the school.

Spaziani will be a new addition to CCA, serving as the fourth grade homeroom teacher. With CCA, Spaziani will also teach fourth and sixth grade Bible and English Language Arts (ELA).

Outside of the classroom, Spaziani will also help the students in sports as she will be serving as the new volleyball coach and assistant basketball coach.

“Ms. Spaziani has a strong work ethic,” Stroud said. “She has a genuine love for students and wants to help them succeed in all areas in academics and athletics.
Her knowledge in sports will be a huge asset to all our student athletes… She can relate to them as student athletes and the demands they have on them.”

Joining CCA alongside Spaziani will be Tew, who joins the faculty as the fifth grade science, math and history teacher.

Tew shared her experience and enthusiasm in a recent announcement, describing her  work in the public school system for almost 34 years.

“I want everyone to know I love my students like mine,” Tew said in the announcement. “I want my students to succeed in life, I promise that if they need anything, they will get it. Thanks for the opportunity to teach your kids, go CCA Cougars.”

The new faculty members have already begun to get their classrooms ready for the new school year; Spaziani is also engaging with student-athletes through her coaching duties, attending all of the summer workouts and helping with the basketball camps and playdates.
