District Judge Jon Folmar and the Children’s Policy Council in conjunction with the Crenshaw County Commission, the Luverne Public Library, the Crenshaw County Sheriff’s Department, the Luverne Police Department, Mayor Ed Beasley and the City of Luverne announce the beginning of a summer movie series for families with a showing of “Mary Poppins” beginning July 17 at 6 p.m. in the main courtroom. Popcorn will be served, and all ages are welcome, but children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
“All our movies are family friendly,” Folmar said. “We encourage families to come out and enjoy the movie experience making memories for you and your children.
“Our first movie will be “Mary Poppins” which is loved by everyone. I appreciate everyone who has assisted in making this possible.”
