Local auto parts manufacturer ITAC has named Bessie Reddock as its June Team Member. Nominated by her supervisor, Tina Hudson, Reddock works second shift in quality control and received excellent rates as a quality inspector.

“If I could describe Miss Bessie in three words, they would be dedicated, hardworking and loyal,” Hudson said in the nomination. “She is a person who’s always about company business, from walking down a team leader to make them aware of an issue to moving to a different area to help out a fellow inspector. No matter what, she gives 100% on a daily basis to ensure that this company is sending quality parts to our customers.” 

Hudson said Reddock is most of all, loyal to the company and her team.

“She has an excellent attendance record,” Hudson said. “She has worked in this building for 20 plus years and has not gotten above three points [for absences]. For this, I think she should be named employee of the month.”

Monthly team member awardees receive a certificate of appreciation and a designated parking spot to honor their commitment and positive contribution. They are also honored by a mention on ITAC’s social media platforms.
