4-H organizes day camp at Farmers Market

During the Farmers Market Day Camp, participants painted pictures of a bug that targets this week’s vegetable focus.

Crenshaw County 4-H launched its Farmers Market Day Camp, beside the Crenshaw County Farmers Market Monday, June 2.
During the camp, children that were registered beforehand online were able participate in crafts and games while enjoying snacks. A craft each week will allow children to paint pictures of insects that attack the vegetable of focus at the market. A collage of the bug paintings will be put together at the end of the summer.
Next week, participants will be carving stamps out of potatoes.
