Lauren Duffell named to LaGrange College VPAA’s List

LaGrange College announced on May 23 that a Crenshaw County native had received honors for the spring 2025 semester.
Lauren Duffell of Highland Home was recently named to the college’s spring semester Vice President of Academic Affairs’ List. To receive the honor, Duffell maintained a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.6 while taking a minimum course load of 12 hours.
The rising college junior is a graduate of Highland Home School. She is pursuing a degree in pre-veterinary medicine and intends to work toward her doctorate degree in veterinary medicine after graduating LaGrange College.
Duffell is active in animal welfare and advocacy. During her time at HHS she participated in fundraising efforts for local Animal Tails Rescue. When on summer break from school, she works nearby at Greenville’s Clay Animal Hospital.
