Furr earns place on Wallace State’s Dean’s List

Wallace State Community College congratulates Katelynne Furr of Highland Home on being named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2025 semester.
Furr is a graduate of Highland Home School, the daughter of Tommy and Valla Furr. She is a member of Union Baptist Church in Honoraville where she worships with her parents and siblings MaKayla and Ty Furr.
Furr is one of 685 students who were named to the President’s List and Dean’s List for the Spring 2025 semester. To earn a spot on the Wallace State President’s List, students must maintain a perfect 4.0 grade point average (GPA) for the semester while taking a course load of 12 or more hours. Placement on the Dean’s List is awarded to students who maintain at 3.5 GPA or higher while also taking a course load of at least 12 hours.
“Congratulations to all of these exceptional students who have earned a place on the President’s List and Dean’s List for the Spring 2025 semester,” said Kristen Holmes, Vice President for Students. “Your hard work, dedication and commitment to excellence have truly paid off. We are incredibly proud of your achievements and look forward to seeing your continued success.”
Registration for the summer and fall semesters is currently underway. Summer classes begin May 27 and fall classes begin Aug. 19.
