Sherry Waller VanCor, aka the Mothership, born Sept. 22, 1962, in Greenville has embarked on her most recent adventure. Saturday, May 24, she arrived at her Heavenly home, where she found the most luxurious accommodations she had ever experienced and will now enjoy them for eternity.
Sherry was an avid traveler who was always ready to take those whom she loved most on their next exciting journey. She was also a loving mother/granny/great grandmother, cherished wife, loyal friend, respected nurse and trusted confidant to many.
Sherry is preceded in death by son, Albert Scott VanCor, II; father, William Waller; mother, Joyce Waller and brother, DeWayne “Doodle” Waller.
Sherry is survived by: husband, Scott VanCor; daughters, Michelle Styron (Nicole), Rachel VanCor (Junior), Crystle Trammell (Courtney), Kayla Tolbert (Billy), stepson, Jameson VanCor (Denise), honorary daughter, Hope Etheridge (John); grandchildren, Eric, Stephen, Gabriel, Makayla, Eli, Jemma, Oberon, Ares, Memphis, Jocelyn, Sadie, Abbie, Randall, Jayden, Chloe, Maddie, Josh, Isabella, Delilah and Ben; great-grandchild, Cadence; brothers, Randy Waller (Debbie) and Johnny Waller (Becky) and and sister, Billie Carol Varner (Johnnie).
Visitation (11 a.m.) and services (noon) were held at GracePoint, 207 East Commerce St., Greenville on May 30. A graveside followed at Liberty Baptist Church, 37 Liberty Church Road, Greenville.
