Probate Judge Will Tate joined the Luverne Kiwanians on Tuesday, May 20, and updated the group on the integrity of elections in Alabama as well as in Crenshaw County.

“I like to try to dispel the myths that are out there and in Crenshaw County and in the state of Alabama our elections are secure,” Tate said.

Tate also mentioned that Crenshaw County has historically seen better-than-average voter turnout and that he expects that trend to continue. Municipal elections will be held across the state on Aug. 26, which will include elections in Brantley and Luverne.
