This week’s pet of the week is Mr. Pickles, owned by Chloe Taylor from Luverne. 

Mr. Pickles is a healthy Shih Tzu mix, a breed known for their affectionate, playful and friendly personalities. 

“Pickles has short legs and can run very fast,” Taylor said. “He is a sweet dog and he loves people. He likes kisses and treats.”

Despite his short legs, Pickles loves to use them to run around and play fetch with his owner and any friends. He’s a picky eater, with his favorite treat being cheese – whether it be cheddar, gouda or provolone. 

As Taylor notes, Pickles loves to climb into and sit in Taylor’s baby’s chair in order to relax from playing. 

After a long day of playing fetch, relaxing and eating his favorite treat, Pickles snuggles in the bed to tuck in for a good night’s sleep. Dreaming of the next day, hopefully filled with more treats and kisses for the short dog.
