The Luverne Journal has a paid opening for a college summer internship. The successful candidate will be driven, dependable and enrolled as a college student pursuing a degree in journalism, communications or a similar field.

College students are invited to apply for the internship. The applicant must have approval from their college or university, a valid driver license and dependable transportation to attend events for coverage of people and events in Crenshaw County. A proven ability to write coherently and willingness to learn newspaper journalism formatting are a must.

The selected student will be required to meet deadlines and work alongside other newsroom staff to write and revise articles for printing in The Luverne Journal and on our website, www.luvernejournal.com.
