Mini schnauzer wins big as Pet of the Week

This week’s Pet of the Week is Horatio, a playful two-year-old miniature schnauzer owned by Amanda Hudson of Dozier.
“Horatio is one of the sweetest and silliest schnauzers around,” Hudson said. “He loves to play, loves his humans, and loves cuddling with them.”
Hudson said Horatio loves to play fetch and brings the tossed toy back to be thrown again.
Additionally, Hudson notes that any coffee within reach might have a sip or two taken by Horatio. He isn’t a picky eater, and when he is not sipping from an out-of-sight coffee cup, he loves eating milk bones for a treat.
“He likes to hunker down really low and tease his brother, Branch, with a toy, then make him chase him with it.” Hudson said.
His brother, Branch, has also won Pet of the Week in the past, winning the honor May 4, 2023. In coverage of Branch’s success, Horatio is mentioned to be an “awesome brother” to Branch.
The pair are healthy pups who love to play and eat milk bones together.
At the end of the day, Horatio falls asleep in his human brother’s bed, getting ready for another day filled with toys, fun and maybe a sip of coffee or two. All to be seen as the silly and sweet dog he is by his owners.
