Golden doodle shines as Pet of the Week

This week’s Pet of the Week is Toby, a special golden doodle from Greenville with a connection to his owner, Kim Foster.
After losing her father in 2023, Foster had found where someone was selling golden doodles.
“I was so hurt and so lost… I thought maybe if I got one, it would [heal] the spot [and] ease my heart of my dad’s passing,” Foster said. “My dad’s name was Kobe, and I bought a male dog and named him Toby.”
Additionally, a coincidence that Foster notes is that her father and Toby were both born in March.
Living with Foster, Toby loves to play and run around. He’s not a picky eater either, with his favorite treats being Milk Bone dog biscuits.
“He has brought me a long way since I have had him,” Foster said. “I really don’t know what I would do without Toby, [he’s] very loving [and] supportive. I can talk to him, [and] he tries to talk to me.”
At the end of the day, Toby tucks in to sleep with Foster, resting for the day full of play ahead.
