This week’s Pet of the Week winner is Gypsy, a Corgi from Highland Home with a sassy nature that makes every car ride an adventure for her owner, Rebecca Leighann of Highland Home.
Leighann describes Gypsy as a pet who loves to be a lap dog and is very sassy. Gypsy suffers from no health issues and is a happy healthy dog.
“She loves to pick on her ‘sister,’ Nola, even though Gypsy’s smaller than her,” Leighann said. “She loves everyone she meets.”
Gypsy is skilled in an array of tricks as well. She knows how to sit and “halfway” understands fetch. She also practices another skill, “speak,” and she is said to howl during and after every meal.
Gypsy is not picky with her food, though, and Leighann said that instead of being a finicky eater, she sometimes steals food from her humans. When she does get a treat, Gypsy loves Dreambone peanut butter twists.
When out and about, Gypsy loves car rides and prefers being a lap dog during her outings. Leighann said that Gypsy loves sitting in someone’s lap during the entire drive.
After a long day practicing fetching, picking on her big sister and taking car rides, Gypsy loves to tuck into bed for the night with her owner. Under the covers, she sleeps all night in anticipation of each new day of fun, excitement and being sassy all over again with those who love her.
