Brantley softball clinch Regional Championship

The Brantley School softball team clinched the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) Regional Championship Wednesday, defeating Leroy 9-1.
On April 29, the Bulldogs hosted and competed in the area tournament, securing victory as the 1A Area Champions! They progressed to the Regional Tournament on May 7 in Gulf Shores, clinching victories over Elba (15-0) and Sweet Water (19-2).
The regional victory places the Bulldogs in line to enter the first round of state playoffs on May 14.
