Crenshaw Christian Academy (CCA) students MalLee Williams, MyLee Williams and Bella Lane recently embarked on an enriching journey through the ancient lands of Greece and Turkey, accompanied by peers from McKenzie, Ft. Dale and Morgan Academy. Spanning 11 days, the expedition took them through iconic destinations including Athens, Mykonos, Santorini, Rhodes and Ephesus. Under the guidance of Lisa Williams, high school English teacher at CCA, the group delved into museums showcasing mythology and other aspects of Greek and Turkish culture, visited ancient temples, retraced biblical paths including that of John and Paul and stood witness to the serene site where Mary spent her final days. Their exploration led them to the sacred cave where the Book of Revelations was believed to have been written. This educational odyssey, facilitated by EF Tours (Education First), provided a transformative experience, fostering cultural appreciation and historical understanding among the young adventurers.
