Even the most skilled bakers have moments where they just don’t feel like putting that much effort into sweet treats. I know the feeling all too well, which is why I love to make this easy no-bake Oreo pie for quick desserts.

The pie is one of the best quick desserts, especially for chocolate lovers like me. The no-bake treat is perfect for any occasion and the cookies and cream dessert is easy enough for anyone to make.

Ingredients
Oreo cookies (family size package)
5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
¾ cup powdered sugar
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
¼ cup sour cream, room temperature
Whipped cream (for topping)

Preparation
Place 25-30 Oreo cookies in a big ziplock bag, then crush using a rolling pin. Place the crushed cookies into a blender. Blend until finely crushed. Once crushed, add the melted butter and pulse to combine. Lightly butter or oil the bottoms and sides of a deep 9-inch pie plate.

Place the plate in the freezer while you prepare the filling. Next, using an electric mixer with a whisk or beat the heavy cream alternating medium and high speed until stiff peaks form. If you don’t have an electric mixer you can whisk with your hands but it will take longer.

Using a different bowl, combine the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, cream cheese, and sour cream. Mix until the filling is fluffy and smooth. Now add the mixture to the bowl with the whipped cream and fold in to combine. Using a few of the leftover cookies, place them into the same ziplock bag and crush with a rolling pin then fold the crushed cookies into the filling mixture. Next, transfer the filling to the chilled crust and smooth the top. Now cover and refrigerate so that the pie will become stiff. Then you will be ready to top the pie with the rest of the cookies and the whipped cream.

Enjoy the delicious treat!
