Kiwanis Club learns about community coverage partnerships

Kiwanis Club of Luverne met Tuesday and heard from Luverne Journal staff reporter Haley Mitchell Godwin and student journalist Ella-Kate Tomlin, who both spoke about the partnership between the Journal and Crenshaw County Schools to mentor budding future journalists and those with a love for writing. Also speaking to the group was Malasia Jones, regional Vice President for Key Club. Brantley School sponsors a Key Club. Jones described Key Club programs and opportunities and invited Kiwanis members to facilitate club formation in all Crenshaw schools.
