Craft Day

The Luverne Public Library will host a Craft Day on Feb. 12 at 4 p.m.

 

Donkey Basketball

Crenshaw Christian Academy invites the community to enjoy Donkey Ball Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. Concessions will be available. Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the gate and $5 for ages 5 and under. 

 

Mommy and Me

The Luverne Public Library hosts a program for moms and young children each Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. The next meeting will be this Tuesday.

Chicken Shack in Luverne will host a LifeSouth blood drive from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Crenshaw Community Hospital will also host a blood drive from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m.

The Luverne Public Library will host 4-H STEM and Cooking Club  on Feb. 15  at 4 p.m.

Crenshaw County Cattlemen’s annual meeting

The Luverne Public Library will be closed Feb. 19 for President’s Day.

 

Swamp Supper

The 29th annual Swamp Supper, featuring guest speaker Lamar Gibson, is set for Feb. 24, rain or shine, at the Tom Harbin farm center. Anyone is welcome to set up, cook and share. Applicator Training

The Crenshaw County Economic Development Authority (CCEDA), in conjunction with Southeast Alabama Works, will host the first of three leadership classes that will be taught by Alabama Industrial Development Training (AIDT) March 13-14 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the CCEDA. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. at which time a silent auction will begin. Dinner service will start promptly at 6:00 p.m. followed by the performance at 7 p.m..
