In this week’s edition of Pet of the Week, the spotlight shines on Marley May, a delightful two-and-a-half-year-old terrier who has stolen the heart of her owner, Amanda Dempsey of Luverne.

According to Dempsey, Marley May is not just a pet, she’s a cherished member of the family, bringing boundless energy and joy into her home on a daily basis.

One of Marley May’s notable traits is her love for baths, a rarity among canines. Although she relishes a nice luxurious bath, Marley May also enjoys getting dirty. When Mom isn’t looking, Marley seizes the opportunity to play in the mud, embracing her inner free spirit.

Marley’s favorite pastime is playing in the sprinkler and her favorite toy is her tennis ball.

When it comes to treats, she has a particular fondness for cheese and milk bones.

Marley May’s name carries special significance for the Dempsey family. It is a heartfelt remembrance of a dear friend of Dempsey’s daughter who passed away and adds an extra layer of meaning to Marley’s presence in their lives.
