Sheriff’s Office searching for missing teen

The Crenshaw County Sheriff’s Office requests the community’s help in locating a missing teenager Tuesday morning.

Jasmine McMeans left the area of Carter Road in Brantley on Jan. 23 and has not returned. According to Sheriff’s Lieutenant Chris Stewart, McMeans is believed to be somewhere in Crenshaw County.

The 16-year-old is a Black female with brown eyes and black hair. She stands 5-foot-five and weighs 150 pounds.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) issued a missing person alert through its Alabama Fusion Center Tuesday morning.

Anyone with information regarding McMeans’s whereabouts should contact the Crenshaw County Sheriff’s Office at (334) 335-4485.
