Wearing the Crenshaw Animal Clinic Pet of the Week crown this week is Judo, the eight-and-a-half-month-old Miniature Schnauzer owned by Erica Norsworthy of Luverne.

Judo’s vibrant personality shines through as she takes on the role of the family’s vigilant guardian. With a keen sense of awareness, Judo loves to vocalize her observations, ensuring her humans are always informed, even of things such as a harmless falling leaf just outside the window.

According to her owner, Judo has a voracious appetite and will eat anything and everything. When it is meal time in the Norsworthy household, Judo can be found watching intently and waiting patiently for any morsel dropped by her human sisters.

Exhibiting a toddler-like curiosity, Judo likes to put everything in her mouth and also, similarly to a human baby, requires a watchful eye.

One of Judo’s favorite pastimes is an endless game of fetch. Over and over again, she enthusiastically retrieves anything thrown for her, never wanting playtime to end. Judo also enjoys collecting sticks and brings one inside every chance she gets.
