Christmas Sweets 

The Friends of the Luverne Public Library will host their annual “Christmas Sweets and Treats” on Nov. 30 from 6-7:30 p.m. Tickets for the event are $10 each and can be purchased at the Luverne Public Library.  

LEGO Club

The Luverne Public Library will host EGO Club on Nov. 30 at 4 p.m. 

Blood Drive

LifeSouth Community Blood Center will have a blood drive Nov. 30 in the Chicken Shack parking lot from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Fun Run 

A fun run in honor of Lisa Kelley Garsee who is battling breast cancer for the second time will be held Dec. 2 starting at 9 a.m. on Airport Road. Check in begins at 8 a.m. All proceeds support Lisa in her battle against breast cancer. Search Facebook for the event titled ‘Fun Run for Lisa Garsee’ to find the registration link.

Visit Santa

The Luverne Public Library invites everyone to visit with Santa on Monday, Dec. 4 from 3-6 p.m.  Santa will arrive on a fire truck and each child will receive a small gift from Santa. Refreshments will be served.  Letters to Santa are available at the library for the kids to give to Santa.

Mommy and Me

The Luverne Public Library hosts a program for moms and young children each Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. The next meeting will be this Tuesday.

ForestHER Webinar

Logging Workshop

A Professional Logging Manager Continuing Education Workshop will be held Dec. 7 from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at the Tom Harbin Ag Center. Registration is required. Please call the Crenshaw County Extension office at 334-335-6312 for more information or to register. 

Christmas Parade

The Front Porch Christmas festival and parade will be held in Brantley on Dec. 9. The parade begins at 12 noon with the festival starting immediately after. For more information look up the event on Facebook. 

Car Show

Crenshaw Kool Ridz will host their fifth annual Cars 4 Kidz Christmas car show on Dec. 9 at E.L. Turner Park from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. For more information contact Rusty King at 334-429-0671.

Open House

Crenshaw County Historical Society will host its Annual Christmas Open House on December 9 and 10, from 2-5 p.m. at the Museum on Airport Road. Come share an old-fashioned Christmas with refreshments and fellowship. Admission is free. 

Craft Day

The Luverne Public Library will host a craft day on Dec. 18 at 4 p.m.

Kids’ Yoga
