Stealing the spotlight in this week’s edition of the Crenshaw Animal Clinic’s Pet of the Week is Suess, the charming 10-month-old tuxedo cat that belongs to Annabelle Farquhar of Luverne.

Farquhar fondly describes Seuss as the cutest and most ambitious cat. His distinctive tuxedo coat adds an extra touch of sophistication to his playful personality.

Fondly recalling the day she met the charismatic furball, Farquhar said it was love at first sight.  Seuss, resembling the famous character from Dr. Seuss’s tales, instantly earned his moniker due to his uncanny similarities when it comes to the mischievous and playful Cat in the Hat. Seuss stands out for his unwavering love for showers, an obsession with running water and an adorable habit of falling asleep while ‘making biscuits’.  If you can’t find Seuss, look no further than a bowl – he loves sleeping in them!

Suess has a keen sense of hearing and listens intently to everything around him. His antics include standing up in a human-like manner on his hind legs when he hears someone entering the house. His favorite pastime involves playful attacks on his kitty and doggy siblings. Seuss’s mischievous side comes out when he playfully attacks the wagging tails of his canine companions, turning the ordinary into a delightful game.

The Luverne Journal urges pet owners to enter their pet today. Who knows, your beloved companion might just be the talk of the town in the next edition!
