Patricia Ann Holloway, age 81, of Gadsden passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 1. A memorial service was held at 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 6 at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. The family accepted friends from 5 p.m.  until the hour of the service at the funeral home.

Ms. Holloway was a 1960 graduate of Hume – Fogg High School in Nashville, Tennessee. She was a commercial artist for the Upper Room, was a phone operator for Bell South, and a sewing machine operator at Healthtex and Vanity Fair. She had a love for hummingbirds, as she couldn’t wait for them to come back every spring. Above all, Pat loved her family and neighbors who will miss her deeply.

Ms. Holloway was preceded in death by her father, James Howard Tosh; mother, Bertha Mae Tosh; brother, James Edward Tosh; and sister, Barbara Jean Bright.

She is survived by her children, Deborah Holloway, Shawn (Angie) Holloway, and David Holloway; grandchildren, Justin Hughes, Lindsay White, Dylan Gardner, Joshua (Melissa) Holloway, Jackson (Hannah) Holloway, Jacob Holloway, Jon-Davis Holloway and Macee Holloway.

Honorary Pallbearers were Lavell Holloway, Michael Holloway, Johnny Holloway, and Kenny Bryant.

The family wishes that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
