This was the last home game for the Bulldogs before playoffs begin Thursday after a three-game winning streak. Both Brantley (6-4) and Florala (7-3) advanced to the class 1a playoffs.

Head coach Roland Jones Jr. said he and his team and staff are excited for what is to come as they prepare to travel to Linden Thursday for round one of the playoffs.

“We finally have everybody healthy and are playing good football at the right time,” Jones said. “Linden is very big so we hope to go fast on offense so they will get tired quick. We are playing with a lot of confidence right now and that is going to go a long way for us.  I hope we play some good football and give a lot of effort and hopefully the score will be in our favor at the end of the game.”
