The Crenshaw County Education Retirees Association (CCERA) held a drive-thru membership event on Sept. 27 at the Luverne Public Library. Dues were collected and the 21 members who attended received goody bags compliments of the Board of Education, Crenshaw County Career Academy, 21 Century After School Program, First Citizens Bank and Alabama Education Retirees Association. The association invites retired teachers, support personnel, administrators, or anyone receiving a Teacher’s Retirement System pension to join or renew their membership.
