Highland Home school’s Homecoming festivities are scheduled for Oct. 11-14. Thursday night will feature the annual bonfire and community pep rally starting at 6:30 p.m. Friday will begin with the Alumni Tea at 10 a.m. in the library and the formal assembly will take place in the gymnasium at 1 p.m. The school will dismiss immediately following the assembly.
At 3 p.m., parents, students, alumni and the community are invited to tailgate in the cafeteria parking lot until 6 p.m. The pregame show begins at 6:15 p.m. Then, at 7:00 p.m., the Flying Squadron will take the field against the Barbour County Panthers.
At halftimeAlly McElwain and her court will be presented and she will be crowned 2023 Homecoming Queen. Saturday night, the festivities will come to an end with the Homecoming dance. Students in 9th -12th grades are invited to attend.
