Highland Home Fire and Rescue, Honoraville Volunteer Fire Department, and Luverne Rescue Squad responded to the scene of a house fire on Sweetwater Road in Highland Home on Sep. 21.

A neighbor on Sweetwater Road, Larry Register, said another resident nearby noticed the flames and contacted emergency services.

According to Highland Home Fire and Rescue Assistant Chief Stephen Wilson, the home was unoccupied when the fire started, and no one was injured in the blaze.

No further information is available at this time as firefighters are still working to extinguish the flames.
