Luverne School Homecoming – All Roads Lead Home

Luverne School will host their annual homecoming festivities on Sept. 29 with the theme “All Roads Lead Home”.

The festivities will begin with a reception honoring the returning Class of 2014 on Sept. 29 at 8 a.m. in the high school library. Formal presentation of the queen and her court will follow at 9 a.m. in the Samuel M. Carr Gymnasium. The parade will begin in downtown Luverne at 12 p.m. The community is invited to come out to the parade and show their Tiger support.   

The Tigers will host The Calhoun School at 7 p.m. Pre-Game activities will begin at 6:30 p.m. and include the alumni band and alumni cheerleader performances. The presentation of the court and the crowning of Miss Homecoming 2023 will be held during halftime.

Presiding over the homecoming activities will be Miss Zyan Peterson, LHS Homecoming Queen 2023. Zyan is the daughter of Ms. Delicia McGhee and Mr. Jamie Peterson. Members of her royal court are Senior Attendants, Anaria Chandler and Callie Grace Kilpatrick. Anaria is the daughter of Anteka Chandler and Demetrius Harris. Callie Grace is the daughter of Elizabeth Harrison and Jeremy Kilpatrick. Junior Attendant, Finley Marchand, is the daughter Mr. and Mrs. Dustin Marchand. Sophomore Attendant, Tyra Lynn Jones, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tyrell Jones. Freshman Attendant, Oliva Sue Cornett, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Cornett. The crown bearer is Master Harper Taylor, son ofBailey Taylor. Scepter bearer is Little Miss Alex Ray Kilpatrick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Kilpatrick.

Miss Football Sweetheart 2023 is Miss Taylor Turner, is the daughter of Niketta Person and Deshaun Turner.  Little Miss Football Spirit is Addison Hardin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Talon VanCor. Little Mister Football Spirit is Knox Jordan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Jordan.
