Wreath Demonstration The Crenshaw County Extension Agency will host a “lunch and learn” on Sept. 15 from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Luverne Public Library. Attendees are invited to bring their own lunch and learn how to make wreaths with REA Megan Jones. Please call the Crenshaw County Extension office at 334-335-6312 to register.

Food Pantry The Alabama-Crenshaw Baptist Association WMU hosts a monthly food giveaway on the third Saturday of each month beginning at 10 a.m. The next event will be held Sept. 16 at the association office in Glenwood. Call (334) 335-6169 for more information.

Open House The Crenshaw County Historical Society will hold its monthly Museum Open House on Sept. 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The museum is located on Airport Road in Luverne. All are welcome. Admittance is free.

Winter Workshop A workshop covering winter grazing and feed will be held Sept. 19 at the Tom Harbin Ag Center beginning at 5:30 pm.. A meal will be provided. Please call the Crenshaw County Extension office at 334-335-6312 to register.

Mommy and Me The Luverne Public Library hosts a program for moms and young children each Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. The next meeting will be this Tuesday.

Movie Day The Luverne Public Library will host movie day on Sept. 25 at 4 p.m.

Beekeeping Webinar Series The Alabama Extension Agency will hold its first webinar in the series on Sept. 26th from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Subsequent virtual meetings will be held on the last Tuesday of each month. LEGO Club The Luverne Public Library will host EGO Club on Sept. 28 at 4 p.m. 

Bingo A Relay for Life fundraiser will be held Oct. 7th at the Crenshaw Co. Shrine Building from 6:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Homemade cakes and other food items will be available for purchase with all proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society.

Pumpkin Painting The Luverne Public Library will host a Pumpkin Painting on Oct. 7 from 9-11 a.m. Pumpkins and paints will be provided. Please bring any trim you need to complete your design. Pumpkins will be judged by library patrons and winners will be announced Friday, Oct. 29 th .

Quarterly Meeting The Alabama-Crenshaw Baptist Association Woman’s Missionary Union will host its quarterly meeting on Oct. 16 at New Ebenezer Baptist Church. Dinner begins at 6 p.m. with service following.

Workshop on Drone Use in AG and Forestry This workshop will be held Oct. 12 starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Tom Harbin Ag Center. Live demonstrations will be held and dinner will be provided. Please call the Crenshaw County Extension office at 334-335-6312 to register.

October Meeting Alabama-Crenshaw WMU will host a night of encouragement and refreshing on Oct. 16 at 6:45 p.m. The event features guest speaker, Bible teacher Paige Hughes, author of Party with a Purpose.

Annual Meeting The annual meeting of the Alabama Crenshaw Baptist Association will be held on Oct. 19 at Danielville Baptist Church. The meeting begins at 3:45 p.m. and will feature messages by pastors Jim Looney and Terry Long.
