The Toy Poodle Bailey has won The Luverne Journal’s Pet of the Year contest. Bailey, a 6-year-old, treat-loving canine, gained an overwhelming 257 votes to emerge as winner. His owners, Marcus and Liz Moody of Luverne, will receive a prize package from Crenshaw Animal Clinic and Area Sponsors. Coming in a close second was the feline Bash who received 172 votes.
