“Greetings! I am an eight year old Boston Terrier named JoJo. I belong to Ellis and Veronica Lewis of Luverne. I love my parents and I want to be near them at all times. They certainly never have to worry about me getting away from them because I am always right up under their feet. I like to eat a lot of things, but chicken nuggets and the homemade peanut butter doggie cookies my mom makes are my favs.I love to play in the mud and play with my toys. I especially enjoy when my parents hide the toys from me and I get to find them.”

JoJo is a longtime playmate of the Lewis’s grandson Connor, now 12. The pup and the grandson love their time together. Recently, the Lewis family noticed that JoJo was getting tired quickly and not enjoying playtime as much as he once did. They then discovered he has a heart murmur that is affecting the rest of his heart. He is on medication for the problem that has helped, but keeping him calm is hard because at times he still wants to play like he is a puppy.
