The Luverne Journal recently hosted classroom parties for Easter Coloring Contest winners courtesy of local McDonald’s owners, Murphy Family Restaurants. Brooklyn Boswell, a sixth grader from Highland Home, fourth grader Lew Davis from Crenshaw Christian Academy, and first grader Annaleigh Sasser from Brantley School and their classmates enjoyed cookies brought by the Murphy Family Restaurants Director of Marketing & Community Outreach Eddie Byrd. Each student and teacher also received coupons to redeem for a free cheeseburger meal at the McDonald’s located in Luverne.
