Charlie McVay was recently named the Crenshaw County School winner of the PowerSouth Energy Cooperative/Southeast AlabamaWorks Resume Contest. Pepsi of Luverne was the local contest sponsor for each of the local high schools awarding two seniors from each school $100 and a Pepsi swag bag. McVay will now compete on the county level which includes other winners from the region 6 Wiregrass area. The county winners will be awarded a $250 scholarship from PowerSouth and advance to the regional contest in Dothan on April 19, 2023. Each county winner will be evaluated on their resume and a panel interview for the chance to receive a $1,000 scholarship from PowerSouth.
