“Meow. My name is Orange and I am a 9-year-old tabby. In the winter, I can be found most often cuddled up inside in front of the warm fireplace. During the warm months, I love watching the beach traffic, hunting, and roaming the neighborhood. Some say I might be a little nosey, but such a thing is required when you are the neighborhood watch cat. I love fuzzy cat toys and my favorite game is catch. When I am ready to play, I take my mom a toy and drop it in her lap. She throws my toy into the air and I always catch it. Treats aren’t really my thing, but I sure do love catnip!”

Rescued in 2013 by Catherine Mitchell, of Brantley, Orange was named by her then 2-yearold grandson, Aron. According to Mitchell, her cat is very intelligent and is the best kitty in the world, even though he can sometimes be a little rough around the edges. 

He can often be found trying to be a photobomber in his owner’s home photography studio. Orange is an important part of the Mitchell household and his owner said she is very glad she made the decision to make him part of the family nine years ago.
