“Howdy! My name is Penny, and I am a 2-year-old pound pup. My mom, Jessica Williamson, of Glenwood, adopted me from the Autauga County Humane Society earlier this year.. My favorite treats are Pupperonis. I am a Rat Terrier, and mom says I have a hard time sitting still. Sometimes, she jokes that she should have named me Zoomie because I am always full of energy, zooming around wide open.”

Penny is blind in one eye, but that does not slow her down. Penny has five doggy siblings: Pete, Hank, Koda, Milo, and Luna.

According to Penny’s mom, she is the most energetic of them all.

Penny’s favorite pastime is tussling with Hank, her labradoodle little brother.

Penny is a mama’s girl and loves sleeping under the covers.
