“I appreciate what these organizations do for our community more than they will ever know,” Sasser said. “Our citizens, especially our seniors and our children, are the lifeblood and heart of this district. Public servants cannot be thanked enough for all they do.”

Ellen Peek Joyner, secretary/treasurer for the Dozier Volunteer Fire Department, said she was very thankful for Sasser’s contribution.

“Dozier Volunteer Fire Department received a generous donation from our county commissioner Stallion Sasser,” she said. “He is a mighty fine young man, and I really appreciate everything he does to help our county and our little area. He also donated to our senior/community center. We are so thankful to have someone willing to talk to us, listen to our needs, and take action to better our county for our children, our grandchildren, and future generations. He has done a wonderful job and I am excited about our district’s future.”
