Mr. And Mrs. Kip Platt of Abbeville announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Hannah Platt to Michael Blake Weaver of Luverne. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Myrna W. Clayton and the late water D. Clayton of Eufaula, Alabama and of Linda B. Platt and the late Buddy Platt of Abbeville, Alabama.

The bride elect is a 2018 graduate of Headland High School. She is a Troy University student expected to graduate in December, where she will receive her Bachelor of Business Degree in Global Marketing. She is employed by Jason Gregory with Premier Performance Horses, LLC in Troy, Alabama.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Weaver of Luverne, Alabama. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Williamson of Luverne, Alabama and Mr.

and Mrs. Mike Weaver of Luverne, Alabama.

The prospective groom is a 2017 graduate of Luverne High School. He is a graduate of Wallace Community College, where he received a degree through the Electrical Line Worker Program. He is employed as a lineman with the city of Troy.

The couple plan to exchange nuptials at 5 p.m. on October 1, 2022 at Barns and Bins Wedding & Event Venue, 3335 Campground Church Road, Luverne, Alabama.
