On March 11, 2022 at 5:04 p.m. Darlene made her peaceful transition from this life to her heavenly home. She is survived by: her husband, Aaron “Gene” Boartfield; her sons, David Boartfield (Aggie) and Michael Boartfield; and her brother Donnis Boartfield. She was also blessed with four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and survived by many other family members and friends who she loved. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. at The Magnolia Baptist Church located at 150 Upper Bozeman Road, Lapine, Alabama. Pastor Howard Kirkland officiating.
