Highland Home JAG students place in district competitions

JAG students from Highland Home brought home several wins from the district competition held March 7. The Leadership Development, Competition, and Awards event for district 2 was held in Prattville. 

First place winners were awarded scholarships to attend the National JAG Career Development Conference in Dallas, TX May 5-7th. The scholarships will cover the cost for flights, lodging, entry fee and uniform.

Dayana Acosta, Savannah Edgar, Cheyenne Tinman, and Amber Majors worked together to achieve a first-place win in the JAG Knowledge Bowl. Grace Dean placed third in Career Preparedness, and Sabrina Crysell came in fourth during the Employability Skills competition. The adviser for the group is Leslie Flowers.
