Highland Home headed to Class 2 A Semifinals

The Highland Home Flying Squadron took down the Greene County Tigers Monday at Cramton Bowl with a final score of 50-40.

The Squadron came out strong, quickly racking up points and ending the first quarter with a 12-point lead. Highland Home commanded the score board the entire game.

Terrin Brown quickly added seven points for Highland in the first quarter and ended the game with the second most points of the night, 12 overall.

Kel Faulk led the scoring for the night with 14 points. He finished the game with 10 rebounds and three blocks.

Latregan Cooper scored 11 points, Brice McKenzie scored six, JJ Faulk scored five and Cade Tidwell had two.

Highland Home will be playing in the AHSAA Class 2A state semifinals on Feb 28 at 7:30 p.m. The will play against either Sheffield or Mars Hill Bible.
