A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, has claimed the lives of two men, both from Opp.

Tyrone White, 54, was fatally injured when the 2004 Cadillac SRX he was driving left the roadway, overturned, and struck several trees. Calvin Lamar Hines, 38, a passenger in the vehicle was also fatally injured.

Both White and Hines were pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Rose Hill Road near Possum Trott Road, approximately one mile south of Dozier, in Crenshaw County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
