The Bulldogs devour the Eagles

The Brantley Bulldogs dominated Pleasant Home Eagles in Friday night’s match up, leaving with a 53-0 victory.

Brantley’s Coach Roland Jones was just glad to be able to get out on the field.

“Glad to finally get to play a game,” Jones said. “We still have a long ways to go but the kids are excited and working hard every day. We want to be at our best at the end of the year.”

The Bulldogs not only dominated the scoreboard, they also took over the field completing 314 total yards in 35 plays compared to 88 yards in 40 plays by Pleasant Home.

Tucker Kilcrease made good use of his arm, throwing 103 of the total games 132 total passing yards. He was able to complete a 41-yard pass to Kendrick Brown in the first quarter for a touchdown.

Other game highlights included Kendrick Brown with a 3-yard touchdown and Robert Shine completed an 8-yard pass by Kilcrease for another touchdown bringing the score to 21-0.

Kilcrease found Jordan Parks for a 24-yard touchdown pass and Morrell Edwards ran a 52-yard rushing touchdown bringing the Bulldogs to 53-0.
