Kay McLain Johnson, 62, a resident of Brantley, AL was born on October 20, 1958 and passed away peacefully on July 27, 2021 at her home. The funeral service will be Friday, July 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Dunklin Funeral Home with Brother Ricky Crysell officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Dunklin Funeral Home.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her father, Willie J. McLain; step-father, John T. Spann and sister, Lisa Renae Moseley Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, David Johnson of Brantley, AL; daughter, Ashley (Bruce) Hollyfield of Greenville, AL sons, John (Shauna) Cowles of Montgomery, AL and Tobby (Tiffany Mitchell, fiancé) of Houma, Louisiana; stepson, Terry Johnson of Greenville, AL; mother, Betty Spann of Greenville, AL; sister, Kristy Wood of Addison, AL; brother, Paul McLain of Greenville, AL; thirteen grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other family members.

Pallbearers will be Walter Johnson, Robert Johnson, Ricky Johnson, TJ Johnson, Ethan Johnson and Charlie Ray Sexton

Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society.
