The Crop Production Network (CPN) announced the release of  a fee web book to help soybean and corn growers scout and manage their crops.

The free web book discusses many topics including weed management, crop disease, insects and other field issues. The information included in the web book aims to help farmers be proactive and to determine necessary steps to mitigate crop loss.

“This will be a great resource for corn and soybean farmers,” said Ed Sikora, Extension plant pathologist. “The Crop Protection Network and Extension experts from around the country have worked to make this resource available free of charge for anyone wanting to know about crop scouting.”
